About

St. Oliver’s (Una Voce St. John’s) is the St. John’s, NL chapter of Una Voce International. We celebrate the Extraordinary Form of the Roman Rite with the knowledge and blessing of His Grace Most. Rev. Martin Currie, Archbishop of St. John’s.

We welcome all who wish to assist at Holy Mass in Latin, according to the 1962 Missal.

  • Catholics in communion with Rome who are properly disposed may (but are not required to ) receive Holy Communion. Others are invited to join in spiritual communion with those who are receiving.
  • Those who receive Holy Communion are publicly manifesting their belief in and assent to all the teachings of the Catholic Church under the authority of the Roman Pontiff.
  • Una Voce St. John’s is a registered charity with the Canadian Revenue Agency. All donations are tax deductible, as for any parish.
  • If visiting parishioners use their own parish’s envelopes, they are returned to the home parish, as happens when they visit other parishes within the diocese.
  • Our offertory collection supports the diocese, as well as covering the expenses of celebrating the Mass at St. Pius X Chapel.
  • The St. Oliver chapter contributes to the Archbishop’s Annual Appeal.
